Summer 2025 Course Registration UpdatesDue to the change in the Shanghai Academic Calendar causing the Spring 2025 semester in Shanghai to end one week later than the Spring semester in New York, students taking Shanghai courses in Spring 2025 will not be able to register for Summer 2025 courses from New York in either summer session. If you have any questions regarding your academic plans, please contact your academic advisor.
Become a CTL Student Partner for Teaching InnovationApply by October 21
Are you passionate about enhancing the learning environment at NYU Shanghai and contributing to advancing teaching excellence? As a member of the CTL Student Partner for Teaching Innovation program, hosted by the Center for Teaching and Learning, you will:
- Join a student community with shared interests in education and innovation.
- Test teaching methodologies and contribute to the integration of Generative AI tools.
- Engage in research and discussions on teaching methodologies with faculty.
- Receive appreciation meal vouchers (for places like Magnolia Cafe), reference letters, and a certificate of participation as tokens of gratitude for your contributions.
January Term 2025 Class Registration Begins
Three 2-credit courses are offered during the January Term.
- ART-SHU 223 Site and Situation: Social Space and Public Art, taught by Monika Lin, will be held from January 6 - 17, 2025, at the NYU Shanghai Campus.
- INTM-SHU 239 Digital Fabrication, taught by Rodolfo Cossovich, will be held from January 6 - 17, 2025, at the NYU Shanghai Campus.
- PCIX-SHU 102 Experience Studio: Making a “Good Life” in Rural Guangdong Province taught by Liangliang Zhang, will take place from January 4 - 14, 2025, in Zhongshan City, Guangdong.
For ART-SHU 223 and INTM-SHU 239: Get your J-term registration hold cleared by your Academic Advisor and enroll in Albert starting from Tuesday, October 15.
For PCIX-SHU 102: Fill out this form to apply by Sunday, November 3.
